Wrought iron bed is the epitome of classic farm décor. They are a nostalgic part of history and I especially think that, when I see them in a space, they remind me of the elapsed times along the way. A wrought iron bed is one of my favorite pieces of furniture. However, I still haven't been able to convince my husband to change into our room. I recently added some to my son's bedroom, and they are so cute. I love the look you can achieve with these beds. They are very versatile and until recently they were actually quite expensive.
Imagine my surprise when I started shopping for them and found lots of… I mean lots of metal beds at really great prices! I was actually quite shocked at some prices. SO I'll be sure to share my entire collection of them at the end of this post, so be sure to check them out!
But, I also really want to show you some of my favorite rooms that have wrought iron beds in them. Supposedly most of them are farm-style bedrooms, but metal beds can be used in a variety of other décor and I'd like to show you some of them.
Let's start with one of my all-time favorites. This bedroom by my friend Ashely at Little Glass Jar is just so great.
I love the way the dark iron bed contrasts with the white and blue bedding and is covered with natural fibers. The dark furniture looks really great with the bed too. I love this space and any time I see it online, I secretly wish it were mine. I forgot to mention the lovely rustic couch at the end of the bed. It's a great contrast to the metal bed.

This is one of my favorite spaces. Kristi, my friend in the Make It In The Mountains bedroom was dreamy. White bedding and gentle accents on the wall go well with the dark wrought-iron bed. I also like the curvy details in the bed. It adds a more traditional and feminine touch to the space.

One place I love to see iron beds is in the boys bedroom. Metal beds can be completely feminine or masculine depending on the accessories and finishes used in the space. With dark wood, blue tones and fun accessories, this room is a great representation of that.

I recently repainted this iron bed and enjoyed its look in this color. It contrasts nicely with the white bedding and really stands out. We found this bed at a local furniture store for almost no price! It was painted a few times, as the paint on it when we bought it was bright yellow. Painting furniture is the easiest way to update a room.

This bed, it's drool deserved! I love the design of this iron bed. I can't get it done enough. The dash of blue and gray looks great with white bedding. This is definitely the one you should try to recreate!

I am completely haunted by this room. I like the wonderful perennial brass finish on the bed, first of all, the lines of this metal bed are beautiful. As you can see there are many different types of iron beds, and this is a perfect example of a good one! The textures and patterns in this room are also gorgeous!

This room has double bed of wrought iron…. Look very lovely. If I had two girls, I would definitely make it! I have two boys with a suitable bed, but there is something so perfect about the contours and floral motifs that contrast the black iron bed.

Burlap, feminine curtains and gorgeous white bedding all set the stage for the perfect spot for a metal bed like this. I've always loved this space… the whole area is girly but the iron bed looks perfect for all.
